A pedestrian parapet guardrail is a restraint system installed on the edge of a bridge, retaining wall or similar structure where there is a risk of fall. Pedestrian parapet can also be used as culvert railings, fixed to the headwall and the wing wall of the structure.
Its material composition is to a much more heavy duty specification than standard pedestrian parapets. More often than not it will be surface mounted using baseplates and a suitable chemical anchor.
As standard, it is supplied to a height of 1150mm, and where adjacent to a cycleway a height of 1400mm. It can also be supplied as an 1800mm high equestrian system.
This product is manufactured to suit site conditions and raked, radiused and special length panels can be supplied.
